Unlike hand-applied strapping, this reel is designed specifically to run through automatic banding machines, with a 200/190mm core sized to fit standard machine spindles. The long 6500m reel length means significantly fewer reel changes than our wider machine strapping options, which matters on continuously running lines.

The Narrowest in Our Machine Strapping Range

At 5mm, this is narrower than our 9mm and 12mm Tenso machine strapping, and carries a lower 50kg break strain accordingly. It’s best suited to lighter cartons where closing speed and cost per carton outweigh the need for high holding strength.
